*Wayne Wilson has announced his withdrawal from the contest, but his
name may still be on the ballot
Finally, in a strange occurrence, Incumbent Diane Wilkerson
in the 2nd Suffolk Senate District will not appear on the primary ballot because
she failed to collect enough signatures to qualify. The expected write-in campaign
has drawn a challenger, Sonia Chang-Diaz, who recently announced her own write
in campaign.
